Communication assessment

Indigov, spin-off of the Catholic University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven), combined its years of experience and expertise on government communication in a number of unique, scientifically-based research models used for assessing and testing government communication. These models facilitate quick and (cost) efficient research and advice regarding the optimisation of communication projects and the effectiveness of the communication tools used.

During each stage of your communication project:

  • a survey into communication needs can help you better align your communication with the needs of your target group, and help you understand which channels to use to reach your target group and which message to convey;
  • a campaign (material) test will examine – prior to the start of the campaign – whether the message, content, tone, etc. of your campaign material (TV ad, advertisement, poster, etc.) comes across as planned;
  • you will gain insight into the impact of your campaign through post tests after the campaign has been finalised, possibly in combination with pre tests (baseline measurement) prior to the launch of the campaign;
  • permanent monitoring of campaigns will measure the impact and effect (attitude / behaviour) through time, which helps improve the maximum use of resources in the long term.

A quick assessment of key figures or an extensive, in-depth analysis of your communication

  • A quick post test generates key figures about your campaign with regard to recall, effective score, attribution, etc. For this purpose, we include a number of key questions in our online omnibus, a weekly representative questionnaire conducted among 1,000 Belgian citizens. Entering a question in the questionnaire only costs EUR 250 excl. VAT (EUR 200 excl. VAT for the Dutch selection) per question.
  • To optimise your crisis communication, you can opt for a flash survey to be conducted among 1,000 Belgian citizens within 24 hours.
  • Our extensive pre and post tests include the following angles: attitude, emotion and motive. These are included to get a unique image of target groups. They also allow a detailed understanding of results and the formulation of well-founded profile analyses.
